1. Delivering Formal Presentation: Students were given an orientation on the aspects to be considered during the formal presentation. Guidelines were given with respect to the points to be considered during the three phases of presentation, viz. pre-presentation, during the presentation, and post-presentation.
2. Professional Communication: This session threw light upon the definition, purpose and mode of professional communication. Participants were also given insights in to 7 C’s of communication.
3. Panel discussion: This session provided insights into the relevant points to be considered during the panel discussion. The format of a panel discussion and the different roles one plays within a panel discussion and the rules and framework, differences between group discussion, and panel discussion were also being discussed. Orientation was also given on the body language and method of speaking and the ethics linked to the panel
4. Public Speaking Skills: Orientation on the content and different styles of presentation during public speaking.

1. Group Discussion Skills: The students were oriented on the skills required for group discussion and points to be considered in a group discussion.
2. Critical Analysis writing: Orientation on Reading and Reviewing Critically, Writing Effective Analysis, Organizing and Structuring the analysis were the discussion points in this session.
3. Research Report writing: Topics covered include the different styles of research report writing and the approach towards these styles. Insights were also given on the formats and layout of the research report writing. Orientation was also given on the nature of citation and reference style in the report writing.
